Keeping an Eye on New Friends

Finally after over a week of storms and snowfall, it felt fabulous to get out on our bicycles again. The sun shone, hundreds of American Robins gobbled worms exposed by the melted snow, and we peddled and peddled up and down the hills. Along the way we passed farm animals, including some exotic breeds. They feel like new friends to me because I always look out for them when I ride past, and there are a few I love to stop and watch.
